After the rain
on Saturday the day started with a very wet track with lost of surface water
& very slippery on the corners. The first race saw many retirements from
the day with those left reeling in the mud & sand. The autos hard hit saw
Jack Rowe take a maximum with Luke Capstick & Jake Milward keeping 2nd
and 3rd all day. Jordan best held 4th in the 1st
& 2nd race but was held in 5th by Marcus Lee Soper in
the 3rd race. Juniors saw Scott Elderfield and Sam Lowes exchange
places through the day with Scot taking the 1st & 3rd
races to an overall win. Jake Hassell took 2 3rd’s a 5th
but held 3rd overall in front of Kray Still, Danny Buchan & Joe
Walklett. In the inter85’s Daniel Weston won the 1st race but as the
track dried was only able to hold 6th in other races holding 4th
overall. Aaron Wakefield rode 2 5th’s and a 2nd for an
overall 3rd but Jamie Tempest &
Joshua Pitter were more consistent holding 1st & 2nd respectively.
Jason Varnham held 5th overall keeping Craig Turner in 6th
who had an unlucky tumble costing him some vital points. The inter 100”s saw
Daniel French holding 2nd in all 3 races but beaten by Charlie
Heatley in the 1st & 3rd and by Billy Raffle in the 2nd
race. Charlie Heatley held the overall honors and Billy raffle held 3rd
in front of Anthony Charlton who stayed clear of Chris Bastick & Robert
Rees in all 3 races. Schoolboy 125’s Saw Philip Parsons & Jude Brown take
alternate winnings through the day and Daniel Ashmore hold 3rd in
all 3 races. 4th to 6th was taken by Oliver Edwards,
Michael Bunn & Jason Boutell
changing their finishing places through the day. Expert Plus (Adults)
Saw Kevin Gomm held at bay by Daren Arscott & Mathew lee in the first race
and held off by Leon Thomas & Mathew Lee in the 2nd race but the
3RD race saw Kevin in 2nd from Leon Thomas Until Leon was
beaten by a sticky corner at the back of the track allowing Kevin to take 1st in the 3rd
race and the win overall. Lee Holand was the only rider to finish as he raced
in 5th in all 3 races & overall just in front of Mark Tassi who
had managed a good 4th in the first race but 6th in the 2nd
& 3rd race left him with an overall 6th place.
